When Nils the Norwegian photographer phoned me and told me he was coming to photograph the Norwegian players and in particular Mattias, who was from a small town in Norway, I smiled. Never happen in Ireland I thought. I could not have imagined what the photos would be like.

When Nils kindly emailed me a copy of them I was bowled over. I have always loved photography but here was a master at work. Here is the gallery of the photos of those days.
